Secondary Class Armor
When I talk to my WoW friends, they are amazed at the variety and awesome-ness of Guild Wars armor. When you walk through town, nobody looks the same. Why not let players wear armor of both their primary and secondary class? One sweet example: think of a Dervish with a Ritualist blindfold. Discuss.

Every Monk would be a /W to wear the 80AL armors, /notsigned...
I can see where you're trying to go with the concept, but I doubt we'll ever see anything like this implemented...

Yeah... I definitely understand that critique. There's no way you could actually get the armor stats, but maybe your secondary class could open up more appearance-only options. Meh...

Well if the armor level would stay at the primary profession level... Then it could work. But if i would see a male warrior wearing mesmer armor it would be very creepy...

It wouldnt work because as mentioned, the armor all has different strengths.
And no, you couldnt have armor auto detect your profession and change accordingly. Because then you woulld have to use the hero system of having armor strenght change according to your level.
This would remove the need to buy stronger armor, as it would auto change anyway.
It would kill the armor system.

Is armor and unique attribute that actually makes the difference betwen characters.
Let characters change any of those and you'll get 'all-in-one' characters.
And that is not the point with GW. GW goes more like 'One slot per character class'.

Somehow, this just isn't as cool as I thought it'd be :P
I think it'd be a wee bit silly.

The armor of a character makes it unique, that is one of the easiest ways to tell a monk from a warrior because of the armor. Only primary professions can use their armor kind.

After looking at this, I must say a big NO.
That gives me goosebumps...
That would be a troble for programmers, and one reson to forget about getting more characters slots, or using them just for storage.

The idea of the ability to use an armor of a different profession would be nice, but in reality, it won't really matter, because we have profession-specific armors to help us identify a player of a certain profession.
If a mesmer was wearing elementalist armor, people in need of a nuker would mistakenly invite her/him to their party, only to find out that the nuker was actually a mesmer 5 minutes into the mission or quest. It'd be not really effective. =/
